I almost didn’t start,
it was almost too easy...
It was knowing that the commitment was real. I felt like I had to do everything perfectly from that point on. I could have waited, and put it off to a 'better' time. What I didn’t realize was how unrealistic my expectations for myself were. You don’t have to be perfect, you could see results from small changes as long as you stuck with them, and I have.
The real problem I faced - and still face - was consistency. Not the motivation to change but the determination to do it most of the time. It was easier than I thought.
Once you change your mindset from never to sometimes, and sometime to most of the time it becomes easier. You don’t have to be perfect with your diet, or your exercise. If you are determined, the consistency will eventually become habit.
